The Network
The Global Internet Evangelism Network is a community of evangelists and technologists who are committed to using the Internet to share the good news of the gospel. In addition to sharing, it is committed to discipling and preparing people for Christ's return.
G.I.E.N. is an initiative from the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and organized by its communication department. For the third time it convenes, this time in Bangkok, Sept. 1-4, 2005.

The title of my workshop : "Virtual contacts - relationships for life."
The goal of the workshop: How can we use the internet to establish meaningful and vital relationships that ultimately will turn into a relationship with Christ?
The challenge: Email, chatrooms, groups, yahoo and MSM messengers, Skype, etc. provide numerous opportunities to meet and communicate with people. How can we turn those virtual encounters into real relationships that will eventually meet real people in a real world. Dangers need to be adressed.
